Welcome to our new West Yorkshire 2023 Mark Benevolent Fund website
It contains information about the Festival finale to be held at the Harrogate Convention Centre, Harrogate , HG1 5LA on the weekend of the 30th June and 1st July 2023.
I have the honour of being the President of the 155th Festival for the Mark Benevolent Fund. I look forward to welcoming you to West Yorkshire, and on the following pages you will find information regarding all the activities we have planned for the weekend.
The Festival Banquet will be held at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel, RH10 3EU on Saturday 2nd July 2022 and hotel accommodation has been reserved at a special price of £100 per night for those attending the banquet. We have also reserved hotel rooms at their sister hotel, the Copthorne Hotel London Gatwick, Copthorne Common, RH10 3PG, at the same price. The hotels are part of the Millennium Hotels Group and are less than 2 miles apart.
On the following pages you will find details of the Festival Banquet to be held on the 2nd July 2022. This will be preceded by a drinks reception and followed by entertainment provided by the West End Jerseys.
On the Friday evening we have arranged a BBQ at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel and this is also available to those staying elsewhere. Entertainment will be provided by Jahson Nembhard, a singer entertainer and former lead singer with the Drifters.
On the Saturday there are trips from the hotels by coach to:
- A Guided tour of Harewood House and Gardens
- A walking tour of Harrogate
